The EXG0203 chip integrates four identical GNSS RF receiver paths each of which is able to receive L1, L2, and L5 GPS bands. Each of the paths amplifies the applied signal, and performs down conversion to a low intermediate frequency. Each signal path band-pass filters the resulting signal and controls the input level to the ADC by using the on-chip included AGC loop. The ADC for each channel has 3-bits of resolution. An external RF and IF LO are required. A 3-wire SPI digital interface is used to program and control the functionality of the chip.
